I grew up in the Village of Bon Accord, which is located close to the Crown Point International Airport, TOBAGO. This airport is now known as the ANR Robinson Airport. As a child, I remember running down to the beach to view the different Airlines flights coming in. I loved growing up there because of the beaches nearby I was always meeting someone new because it was an area high on tourism.
I received my primary School Education at the Bon Accord Government School. I later received my Secondary Education at the Scarborough Secondary and Signal Hill Secondary. At these schools, I was know for athletics, I loved running and would always represent my school for sports day. My fondest memory would be chants from my school mates every time i won a medal. I grew up with my grandmother who was very strict so I could not further my athletic career because of her beliefs.
After leaving school, I wanted to go to college but I went into the world of work, where I gained a lot of experience in the Administrative and Human Resource Area. I realised my passion for Human Resource and that resulted in me pursuing my degree in that area. I presently hold an Applied Associate Science degree in Human Resource Management from the College of Science, Technology and Applied Arts of Trinidad and Tobago (COSTAATT). Additionally, I am pursuing the Bachelors in Business Administration with Human Resource Management. This is a dream come true for me because I thought since I was not able to start college fresh out of Secondary school that I would never get the opportunity but I was wrong. I thank God everyday for making it possible for me to pursue tertiary education.
I am the mother of a beautiful eleven year old. I love her very much and I intend to give her all the support that she needs to become a successful adult. I have a strong belief in GOD and I believe that he is the source of my strength. I have been a christian for over fifteen years.
I love the outdoors. I love playing music. hence the reason I have been apart of Marching bands for over ten years. I am also the member of a choir because I love to sing. I am very friendly. I love helping others and I always teach my daughter to be kind to others and to never look down on anyone. I personally believe we are all equal despite our race, education, or background.
My friends sometimes tell me that I am crazy, outspoken, down to earth and sometimes too friendly.I thank God for my friends because they are more like family. I never had a close connection with my immediate family but I love them still. I built a very strong relationship with my friends and I must say that I am blessed with very good friends. I grew up poor but I dont say that with any pity. It thought me to appreciate what I have and to be humble and to always treat everyone with respect.
My aspiration for the next three years is to be married, graduate from my present studies, and give my daughter a sibling :).
